The partners involved in the Construye 2030plus project have launched the Construye 2030plus Route, a travelling initiative that will visit ten Spanish cities to bring professionals in the construction sector the skills they need to move towards more energy-efficient and sustainable construction.
Between September and November, a mobile training unit will travel to different cities across Spain to provide training in energy-efficient building renovation, with a particular focus on three key areas for improving the energy performance of buildings: thermal insulation, window installation and heat pump installation.
The initiative aims to make it easier for construction professionals to access the knowledge and solutions needed to address the challenges of the energy transition and help transform the building stock towards more energy-efficient and sustainable models.
Practical training and innovative construction solutions
Over approximately one and a half hours, visitors will be able to explore the different areas of the Roadshow and learn about the procedures, techniques and processes associated with the three training areas: thermal insulation, window installation and heat pump installation.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover the latest solutions in lightweight façade systems, External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS), ventilated façade solutions and heat pumps, among others.
In this way, the Roadshow combines practical training with the opportunity to discover first-hand the materials and systems that are helping to transform the way buildings are constructed and renovated.
Ten cities bringing training closer to the sector
The Construye 2030plus Route will visit a total of ten Spanish cities: Santiago de Compostela (29/09), Valladolid (01/10), Zaragoza (07/10), Logroño (08/10), Murcia (13/10), Valencia (15/10), Granada (20/10), Don Benito (22/10), Guadalajara (29/10) and Madrid (03/11).
At each stop, the training activity will be organised into three sessions, each lasting one and a half hours, at the following times:
- Session 1: 10:00–11:30.
- Session 2: 11:30–13:00.
- Session 3: 13:00–14:30.
The Roadshow sessions include access to both the training area inside the mobile unit and the showroom showcasing construction solutions.
