Construye 2030plus has been recognised as one of the year’s best Sustainability Actions at Sustainability Day 2026, in recognition of its work to promote green skills among construction professionals.

This award highlights the project’s contribution to equipping professionals with sustainability skills, a key factor in advancing the decarbonisation of buildings and supporting the sector’s green transition.

The award ceremony took place on 27 October at the auditoriums of the Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid. Javier González, Director of Training and Employment at the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (the organisation coordinating the initiative), accepted the award on behalf of the consortium comprising the Confederación Nacional de la Construcción (CNC), Comisiones Obreras del Hábitat (CCOO del Hábitat), the Federación de Industria, Construcción y Agro de la Unión General de Trabajadores (UGT FICA), the Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the Asociación Nacional de Distribuidores de Cerámica y Material de Construcción (Andimac) and the Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo (Fundae).
